About the project

Atelier needed to feel like walking through a gallery. Every page transition, every image reveal, and every scroll interaction was crafted to mirror the studio's approach to architecture: intentional, measured, and beautiful. I built the site with React and Motion for the animation layer, Sanity as a headless CMS so the studio could manage projects themselves, and a custom image pipeline for high-resolution architectural photography that loaded instantly. The studio reported a 3x increase in inbound inquiries after launch.

01 — Challenge

What needed to change

The studio's previous site was a generic WordPress template that didn't reflect the quality of their work. They needed a site that felt as curated as their architecture, with the ability to manage projects themselves.

02 — Direction

How it was approached

Built a custom React site with scroll-triggered animations, full-bleed image galleries, and smooth page transitions. Integrated Sanity CMS with a custom schema matching their workflow. Implemented a responsive image pipeline with AVIF/WebP support.

03 — Outcome

What it led to

3x increase in inbound inquiries, 95+ Lighthouse performance score, and the team manages all content independently.
